Alchemai EDGE is a venture-backed Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) company looking to disrupt and improve the way companies manage their supply chains.

The
Problem

While supply chain woes dominate headlines and continue to impact the bottom line of businesses and families across the globe, a Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology startup out of Seattle set out to do something about it.

Alchemai uses advanced analytics and altorighms to identify problems that are layers deep within a supply chain. While the group has a deep bench of supply chain executives and mathematicians, they lacked the expertise to create an appropriate presentation layer for their game-changing technology.

The
Solution

KnockMedia designed and built a desktop and mobile experience, producing designs and building the presentation layer in React. D3 and Chart.js was used for the advanced data visualizations. The first phase of this project was focused on creating the foundation for an enterprise web application and native application. A UI for supply chain managers was the focus.

The
Results

Alchemai created a series of algorithms that can identify cascading risk effects within a given supply chain. KnockMedia built the way those algorithms deliver results to end-users. The User Interface (UI) delivers customizable dashboards for data analysts — a combination of user-centric design from KnockMedia with real-time data from Alchemai EDGE. The experience is available on the web and as a native application.

3. Admin (who would be able to manage access rights for all users and update the various system data tables as necessary)
